Modern Impact Collective is a unique organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories of our time through the lens and voice of children. We use various forms of media, such as audio recordings and videos, to capture and archive information.
We provide children with the opportunity to use various forms of media—such as photography, film, theatre, and digital forms—as a way to express themselves. We believe in giving children the chance to be heard and seen, and empower them to make an impact.
Our workshops are designed to be fun and engaging while also teaching young Changemakers valuable skills. We strive to equip them with the tools needed to make a tangible difference in their world.

We're Still Here
"We're Still Here" is a project dedicated to preserving the stories of African-American elders from the area now known as Graduate Hospital. We believe that this oral history is essential to our universal cultural heritage.
Our goal is to ensure that these stories are shared and heard by future generations. To achieve this, we have created a program that partners children with elders in the African-American community. Through interviews, documentation, and storytelling we are helping to bridge the gap between the past and the future. We invite you to join us on the journey of preserving the unforgotten stories from the African-American elders in this community.

LETTER TO MY FUTURE SELF
SPRING 2024
Modern Impact focuses on teaching children how to be conscious of the current issues and how to make a positive impact in their lives and the lives of others. We believe that children should be given the opportunity to think critically and understand the world around them. We take a unique approach to guiding children, by having them write a letter to their future self about the societal and environmental issues that are currently impacting them. Through our lessons, activities, and research, children will learn the importance of being proactive and engaged citizens.
FRAGILE CONCRETE
FALL 2025
An innovative visual arts experience for children that encourages them to explore the power of movement and expression. Our project is designed to help children learn more about the concepts of finality and growth and how they can coexist. Through creative activities and exercises, children will engage in meaningful conversations, develop problem-solving skills and explore the power of growth mindset.

An exploration into the the power of resistance, the potential for collective action, and the forms of civic engagement needed to implement change. Our goal is to equip youth with the skills and courage to make a difference in their communities and beyond through Youth Empowerment and Activism.
